My name is Cynthia (Cyn for short) and I am so excited to start this blog today, on a day where rain threatens to sprinkle on my beautiful New York City. We can only cross our fingers, right?

This blog is new and I will be revamping the design bit by bit. Don’t be alarmed if one day you find it drastically different!

What is beauty?

According to dictionary.com, beauty is “the quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations (as shape, color, sound, etc.), a meaningful design or pattern, or something else (as a personality in which high spiritual qualities are manifest).”

Is everyone beautiful?

I say that most people except for the truly deranged possess some quality that is beautiful to someone else.

Beauty comes in all forms and shapes. What is beautiful to one person may not be beautiful to another.

Since we appreciate beauty, we should attempt to create beauty where possible.

As a Mary Kay consultant, I will be sharing the Mary Kay tools that I have in my beauty arsenal.

But don’t think this is a Mary Kay Blog. We will be looking at all aspects of beauty including ways to improve the beauty of the soul.

I cherish all your comments as long as they are not intentionally demeaning.

Let us strive to encourage and build up one another!
